With one month left to register for Crank the Shield, organizers have released a series of promo videos to whet the appetites of riders. There are 60 spots remaining for the Ontario stage race, which covers three stages and 235 km in the Canadian shield. There are solo and team options available, but for riders who find that distance a bit too challenging, the race has followed suite with some of the other big stage races in North America by adding a short-course option with daily distances between 50 and 60 km.
