The fourth annual Andy’s Ride will take place this year on Sunday, July 27. Cyclists can choose between a 50-km, 100-km or 110-km route along picturesque Lake Muskoka in Ontario. The routes complement cyclists of all abilities, from beginner to elite.

After 110 days of riding, 14 rest days and roughly 12,000 km pedalled, Clara Hughes has reached Ottawa, finishing Clara’s Big Ride. The event started March 14 in Toronto. From there, Hughes has ridden in all 10 provinces and three territories. Her goal for this event was to raise awareness for mental-health issues among Canadians. In the first three weeks of the ride, roughly 25,000 people attended the events connected to the ride. Throughout the 110 days for the trip, the event has accrued many notable figures.

Canada’s newly minted time trial and road race champion, Svein Tuft, his heading to the Tour de France. On Tuesday, the Australia-based WorldTour team Orica-GreenEdge named its squad for the 101st Tour de France, which starts Saturday. The list also includes Jens Keukeleire, Luke Durbridge, Mathew Hayman, Michael Albasini, Michael Matthews, Simon Clarke, Simon Gerrans and Simon Yates.
