Dorel Sports appoints new vice president of international sales

The sports department of Dorel Industries, the Canadian company based in Montreal, has named a new vice-president.

Dorel Sports announced on May 3 that Dean Stojanovic has been appointed to the role of vice president, international sales operations based at the division’s headquarters in Wilton, Connecticut. The role involves a focus at driving international sales through operational improvements within the sports department of Dorel.

Stojanovic is an avid cyclist who joined Dorel Sports in 2012 as the finance director in Australia. More recently he was the director of business development for Asia Pacific. He has also worked in business finance across Asia Pacific as Microsoft and Thomson Reuters.

“I’m excited to welcome Dean to the United States in his new role of vice president of international sales operations for Dorel Sports,” said Jeff Weiss, senior vice president, international sales, Dorel Sports. “Dean brings a wealth of experience and insights from his different roles across Asia Pacific and Australia that will benefit the team as we continue to grow the business.”

Dorel’s Sports bike brands include Cannondale, Schwinn, Caloi, Mongoose, GT and Sugoi. The Dorel Industries headquarters company headquarters are located in Montreal.

Cannondale recently launched a new model of the Cannondale Scalpel-Si dual suspension cross country mountain bike.
