Annie Foreman-Mackey (Cyclery-Opus) won the elite women’s national road race title ahead of defending champion Joëlle Numainville (Cervelo-Bigla) and Leah Kirchmann (Liv-Plantur). Part of the day’s breakaway that formed 40-km into the 110-km race, Foreman-Mackey proceeded to drop one-by-one her breakaway companions until she was solo for the final 25-km. Ariane Bonhomme, Foreman-Mackey’s teammate, sprinted to the under-23 championship title. Follow our live coverage of the under-23 and elite men’s race here at 1pm EDT on June 26.
