On May 2, fans of bespoke bikes can check out the Canadian Handmade Bike Show in Montreal. Builders such as Marinoni, Guru, Xprezo and Golem will be on-hand. A builder from Guru will even assemble a carbon-fibre frame onsite.

The event, however, isn’t just for gawking. The shop Rebicycle, which specializes in rebuilding previously ridden bikes, will have 15 road bikes for sale. Proceeds from the $10 entrance fee go to Cyclo Nord-Sud, a non-profit that sends used bicycles “South,” countries in Africa and Asia. The bicycle can be a transformative tool promoting development, education and health.

The Handmade Bike Show, or Cycloshow, will also have valet parking for your two-wheeled ride. Drinks and a buffet will be there, too.

Time 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
