M1 Sports Management welcomes Yoeri Geerits

Yoeri_Release[1]On Tuesday, M1 Sports Management announced their latest recruit to launch a professional cycling platform. Yoeri Geerits, the vice president of REPUCOM Canada will serve as an advisor to the M1 team to develop accurate metrics that pertain to a sponsorship platform for cycling. Geerits’ expertise relates specifically with sports sponsorship and its merits. With over 15-years experience he is attuned to the realm of sports marketing and has a crucial understanding of corporate interests. He will specifically be involved with data dissemination that will allow M1 to target specific areas for future sponsorship.

According to Robin Clegg, there is a disconnect when approaching sponsors in cycling. That is because many project leaders lack tangible data to present to companies. Geerits will address that gap and help spearhead the next phase of M1 Sports Management’s pro cycling project. Geerits has worked among some of the largest sporting platforms in the past. He was involved with ING Direct’s entry into Formula One racing. His company currently serves as an agency that specifically acts as a sports market researcher for over a 1000 brands.
