Maratona dles Dolomites unveil 2016 kit

One of the world’s most scenic gran fondo’s tackles the famous and grueling climbs of the Dolomites in Italy. A celebration of cycling history and the region’s culture, the ride takes participants up famous mountain passes and through picturesque valleys. The Maratona dles Dolomites has unveiled their kit for the events 31th edition. The Castelli Maratona 2016 Edition Race Jersey is a lightweight, breathable jersey that was designed with the high mountain stages of the Giro d’Itali and Tour de France in mind.

The jersey uses a 3D mesh fabric on the front and shoulders to make it feel light and stay dry. The jersey has a fitted cut so there is no excess fabric to flap in the wind. To accompany the jersey are the Maratona 2016 Edition Volo Bibshorts. A compressive pair of bibshorts that are designed to be comfortable in hot weather and use mesh bib straps. The bibs are made from Castelli’s Affinity Lycra that has high stretch on the inner thighs and gentle compression. The chamois uses a seamless KISS AIR fabric made from microfibers to minimize chafing. The chamois has padding of different densities to provide padding where necessary and follow the shape of the bodies movements.
