Scott-3Rox 2015 team launch party in Toronto

Canada’s top mountain bike team gathered friends and supporters in Toronto on Tuesday to launch the 2015 season in style. The entire Scott-3Rox Racing roster of athletes and support staff were on hand at the Steam Whistle Brewery in downtown Toronto.

Fans, supporters and athletes mingled through the evening, taking photos, talking about racing and looking ahead to the Pan Am Games in 2015. Guests were encouraged to bid on the silent auction, which included a number of Scott bikes as well as exclusive memorabilia. This world champion jersey signed by Nino Schurter was one of the clear highlights.

Derek Zandstra’s team issue bike was also up for grabs to a lucky high bidder.

Team manager Kyle Douglas took to the stage to introduce every member of the team to those gather at the event. Many of the athletes took very short breaks for their training schedules to fly to Toronto to attend the event.

New additions to the women’s roster, Teal Stetson-Lee and Erin Huck travelled from the western US to celebrate joining the Scott-3Rox team for the 2015 season.

All of the Scott-3Rox riders spoke about how great it is that the team feel like family.
