Svein Tuft finishes 15th in Stage 20 time trial

Orica-GreenEdge’s Svein Tuft placed 15th in the Stage 20 time trial of the 2014 Tour de France. Tuft debuted his 2014 Canadian national time trial champion kit on the gruelling 54-km course that was anything but flat. When asked about the undulating course profile, Svein commented that “it was super difficult, ’cause it never felt it got huge recovery. The descents were that fast that you got right back those climbs again.”

After Sunday’s final stage ending in Paris with laps on the fabled cobbles of the Champs–Élysées, Tuft will head straight to Scotland to compete in the both the road and time trial events at the Commonwealth Games in Scotland.  Jump to the video for more from Tuft time trial stage and his plans for the Commonwealth Games the following week.
