After weeks of taking entries, five finalists in the Land of Waterfalls Getaway contest have been chosen. Now it’s up to you to pick the grand prize winner, the person who will ride the roads and trails of Transylvania County, N.C., on a new Specialized bike. To vote for a finalist, scroll down, check the box and hit Submit. The deadline for voting is March 17.

…which is why I would be willing to take a small sabbatical from Prairie riding to serve as the Land of Waterfalls writer/rider-in-residence (LoWWRIiR). As the successful candidate, I would be honoured to share the awesomeness of the Transylvania County road riding through Strava posts, capturing the epic climbs, big miles and amazing scenery. Also there’d be inspiring Instagram photos from the road, local breweries and cafés.

I can’t wait for an epic, and I hope sunny, adventure on two wheels.
