Register for the 2015 Gran Fondo Mont-Tremblant

For those who like a long ride, the organizers of the Gran Fondo Mont-Tremblant have added a proper century distance to their 2015 event. In 2014, the longest loop was the 125-km Gran Fondo., which attracted more than 480 riders. In 2015, the 160-km Super Fondo will give riders roughly six hours of riding with more than 1,800 m of elevation. The new route adds to the 125-km loop, which runs through the Upper Laurentians by rivers, fields and farmhouses.

Gran Fondo Mont-Tremblant 2014

For those who like a long ride, the organizers of Gran Fondo Mont-Tremblant have added a proper century distance to their 2015 event. In 2014,  the longest loop was the 125-km Gran Fondo, which attracted more than 480 riders. In 2015, the 160-km Super Fondo will give participants roughly six hours of riding with more than 1,800 m of elevation. The new route adds to the 125-km loop, which runs through the Upper Laurentians by rivers, fields and farmhouses. At roughly the 100-km mark, Super Fondo riders will make a right up Chemin de Nordet, a hilly road between Lac Supérieur and Saint-Donat. For the next 22 km, cyclist will be treated to challenging grades that can top 11 per cent. The payoff? A screaming descent, mostly, back to the start/finish at the Mont-Tremblant resort.

Crossroads Tremblant cancels 2022 event

For those who want to ride shorter distances, there’s the Medio Fondo (80 km) and Mellow Fondo (45 km). All rides finish back at the resort where there will be music and cocktails at the Place des Voyageurs.

Early-bird registration runs until March 1. Standard registration closes, May 28 at 5 p.m.  The rides kick off May 30. For more information, visit the Gran Fondo Mont-Tremblant site.
