At the Suzuki Nine Knights MTB 2017, Adolf Silva of Spain went for a 15-m double backflip on a downhill bike. He took flight through the event’s Haider Alm, Italy course. Everything mid-air was more or less perfect—even the landing, with the exception of a tiny mistake. That mistake, though, was enough to throw off Silva’s control, ultimately upsetting his balance enough to force him to bail.

The Spanish rider, fortunately, suffered no injuries.
