Sunday’s championship racing at Silver Goose CX couldn’t have been more different than Saturday’s snow and mud-fest, with sun drying out the course. Now-tacky mud made for high-speed races all Sunday, and Canadian’s climbed to the podium in two of the three Jr. and Under-23 Pan-American championship races.

Solid crowds showed up to support the local racers as they battled the best from across the continent. Ruby West (Specialized – Tenspeed Hero) finished second in the Under 23 Women’s race.
In the Jr. Men’s race, Carter Woods (Naked Factory Racing) sprinted for third, while Gunnar Holmgren fought back from an early crash to close in on the U23 Men’s race. Here’s the best of the racing action from Silver Goose Day 2:
