Canmore now hosting 2022 the America’s 24Hr Solo Championships

Canadian Rockies 24 is the venue for this summer's continental title battle

Canmore Canada Cup

Canmore’s Canadian Rockies 24 is taking it up a notch. This year’s event will play host to the 2022 WEMBO America’s 24H Solo Continental Championship events. That upgrade comes with prestige, the continental champion jersey and a solid cash prize for the men’s and women’s winner.

Canadian Rockies venue at the Canmore Nordic Centre is a classic on the 24-hour racing circuit. It’s the same venue that has hosted several Canadian XCO national championships events as well. This is the first year Canadian Rockies is organizing the race, bringing the endurance format back to Alberta for team and solo riders.

For solo racers, the addition of WEMBO America’s status means the opportunity to earn a continental title on home soil. For the men, you’ll likely have to get through four-time WEMBO world champion, Cory Wallace, first.

If you’re up for that challenge, or you want to enjoy the 24-Hour race format with a team at a more casual pace, Canadian Rockies 24 takes place August 27-28, 2022. Registration and WEMBO details are up now.
