Course Preview: Gee Atherton checks out changes to Leogang World Cup

New features shake up and attempt to slow down Austrian downhill track

Gee Atherton Leogang World Cup course preview

It’s the second weekend of back-to-back World Cup’s, with Leogang hosting the top downhill racers this weekend.

After a rough, rain-soaked weekend in Fort William, riders are surely happy to see the sun in Austria. They’re less excited about some of the course changes organizers have made to try slow down the high-speed World Cup track, though.

Loose new berms and dusty off-cambre sections look awkward, but will surely bed in by race day.
