Canadian national champion previews Saturday's course in Quebec

Mont-Sainte-Anne MSA

Saturday’s world championships are the pinnacle of the cross country season. 90 minutes of racing to decide who gets to wear the rainbow stripes of world champion for the coming year.

There could be no better course to determine the best cross country racer of the year than Mont-Sainte-Anne. The Quebec venue has been on the international scene continuously since 1991, and the major course features have been largely consistent for years. With its mix of punishing technical climbs and incredibly difficult, rocky descents, however, MSA remains a classic.

This week has already seen the junior’s and under-23 men racing, but what does the course look like from a rider’s perspective?
