Harper kicks off 2022 Norco Canadian Enduro Series

Kintner and Frew top year's first podium in Kamloops, B.C.

Harper Mountain opened the 2022 Norco Canadian Enduro Series with two days of high speed trails and wide open racing. Jill Kintner and Jackson Frew leave Kamloops with the first wins of the year in the eight-event calendar.

Pro Men and Women

Kintner, an Olympian and long-time Norco rider, ventured up across the border from Bellingham, Wash. to take the win. Canyon MTB Racing’s Kamloops local, Jenn Jackson, traded the XC bike for an enduro rig for the weekend, taking second place. Ingrid Larouche of Alma, Que. rounds out the podium in third.

ON the men’s side, Australian Jackson Frew takes the first NCES win of 2022. Dylan Da Silva of West Kelowna followed in second, narrowly edging out Norco downhill racer Elliot Jamieson in third.

Under-21 Men and Women

Elly Hoskin (Garibaldi Highlands) and Lief Rodgers (Port Moody) take top honours in the u21 races. Hoskin edged out Ainsley Haggart (Durango, Colo) and Clara Brown of Canmore, Alta. for the win.

In u21 men, multi-discipline talent Leif Rodgers of Port Moody edged out Wei Tien Ho (Whistler) and Zac Stratton (Pemberton) for the win.

Norco Canadian Enduro Series keeps trucking with two June events. Crowsnest Pass brings the series to Alberta on June 18-19. Racing returns to the long-serving host town of Revelstoke B.C. on June 25-26.
