Dunbar Summer Series capped off a big weekend of racing in the Kootenay Rockies by crowning new Canadian downhill national champions on Sunday. Gabe Neron and Bailey Goldstone stormed through the dusty rocks of Kicking Horse Mountain Resort to earn their first elite titles and the maple leaf sleeve that goes with it.

More than just elite racing, 2022 nationals brought over 300 riders out to KHMR for a weekend of racing and celebrating the Canadian DH community that’s been racing together for 10 years at Dunbar events. From u17 to elites – and the second year of adaptive downhill racing – there was competitive racing across categories.

Catch up on all the racing from 2022 Canadian downhill national championships at Kicking Horse Mountain Resort. And with 2023 nationals announced earlier today, make plans to join next year.
