How to watch: Absa Cape Epic’s final three stages

There are three dramatic days of racing remaining in the Absa Cape Epic mountain bike stage race, and you can watch all of the action from South Africa live from your home. Stages five and six, on Friday and Saturday will both be streamed live online, with replays available to re-watch afterwards, while the final stage will be broadcast live on tv.

Absa Cape Epic mountain bike stage race takes place over eight days in the grueling and unforgiving trails of South Africa. Over seven stages, and a prologue, racers fight for stage wins and the coveted overall leaders jerseys for one of the most challenging and well respected mountain bike stage races in the world. Adding an extra element to the proceedings, racers must compete in teams of two and must remain near their teammate for the entire stage. Riders must be physically and mentally tough, as well as mechanically lucky, in order to succeed in the desert heat.

This year, Canadian Olympian Raphaël Gagné is making his first appearance at the South African stage race. He will be racing alongside his Silverback OMX Pro Team partner Martin Gluth of Germany.

Gerald de Kock will be providing commentary for all stages with contributors Jeff Ayliffe and Neil Gardiner from joining in on the action from along the route.
