Jordie Lunn answers the question: How hard can you ride an eMTB?

Canadian freerider turns his e-bike up to 11

Jordie Lunn YT Decoy

If there was anyone with lingering doubts about the capabilities of eMTB’s, Jordie Lunn is doing his best to put those doubts to rest.

The Vancouver Island freerider takes his YT Decoy out to the woods and puts it through abuse like few other riders could. Lunn even takes the single-crown trail eMTB off some of the massive features from his Rough AF segment. If the YT can survive that sort of abuse, there’s little ground to say eMTB’s, or e-enduro as YT labels the Decoy, aren’t “real” mountain bikes anymore.

Of course, YT adds in a notable disclaimer to go along with Lunn’s impressive feats. Along with noting that it was filmed on a close course, by a professional rider on a bike that may not be the stock build, YT ends with the rather blunt, “Do not attempt.” To be fair, even Lunn’s trail dog backs down from several of the features.

Watch below to see what Lunn can do on the YT Decoy that you probably shouldn’t try:
