Watch: Ellen Noble’s Bunnyhop the Patriarchy

Ellen Noble and her drive to get over the physical and metaphorical barriers

An initiative created by American cyclocross racer Ellen Noble gained traction in 2017 after she successfully bunny hopped a barrier in competition. Bunnyhop the Patriarchy all started with Noble’s drive to hop the barriers in cyclocross races just like some of the top elite men would do. It was a physical obstacle but also a metaphorical one.

Pauline Ferrand-Prevot was one of the only elite women’s racers bunny hopping barriers on the elite circuit and acted as a motivator for Noble in her drive to master the skill. Rapha has created  video so you can learn more about how Bunnyhop the Patriarchy has evolved from more than just hopping the physical barriers in ‘cross races.
