Are you ready for the Ontario fat bike race series?

Substance project sets dates for this winter's fat tire race series

45 Nrth Ontario Fat Bike Series p/b Cannondale Substance Projects

Snow is falling across much of Canada, which means it is time for fat bike racing.

If you’re in Ontario, the first event is already less than a month away. 45Nrth Ontario Fat Bike Series p/b Cannondale gets rolling on 15 December at Turkey Point. The race is the first in the five-stop Ontario fat Bike winter series.

To help you warm up after your post-race cool down, each event will have an indoor heated area for registration as well as post-race chili and hot chocolate and podium presentations. Courses will be groomed, as long as unpredictable winter weather allows.

Registration for the 2018/19 Ontario fat bike winter series is open now, though you will have to register for Hardwood Ski and Bike finals separately. There’s a discounted entry fee if you decide to take on the full five event series.

For the committed fatties, there will be overall standings for each category. Winners will be calculated bast on the best four of five results.
