What do you do with a BMX, a chopper, and unlimited access to the street and skyscrapers of Dubai?
“Heli-drop” is becoming a more common phrase in mountain biking, and is well-established in skiing and snowboarding. Kriss Kyle redefines the term, taking it to wild new extremes.
The BMX pro heads to the United Arab Emirates for his high flying stunt, jumping out of a helicopter into a series of massive rooftop ramps. Not just any rooftop, either. Kyle leaps from the relative safety of the chopper onto the roof of one of Dubai’s soaring skyscrapers.
Kyle’s stunning caveman drop from the chopper would be enough on its own, but he keeps the action moving after.
Dubai has developed a reputation for impressive and luxurious architecture, but it’s not exactly known as an extreme sports destination. With special access to hit up the street spots of dreams across the city, Kyle makes use of the architecturally renowned city’s unique urban features.
