Sage Cattabriga-Alosa finds balance in “Elemental”

Sometimes it takes the perspective from outside one’s own sport to create a video that breaks from the routine of two minute mountain biking shreddits.

Pro skier Sage Cattabriga-Alosa just might have enough outside perspective to present mountain biking in a create new fashion.

Elemental mixes sports and seasons to create a sense of balance. Skiing meets mountain biking. Summer meets winter.

In Cattabriga-Alosa’s words “The elements air, fire, water, and earth exemplify aspects of nature, and represent facets of the human experiences of inspiration, creation, reflection and grounding. These components can be a guide to our experiences of life, and are deeply connected to skiing and mountain biking.”

Elemental is Cattabriga-Alosa’s first major solo project. The film features riding by Adam Craig, Eliot Jackson, Kyle Jameson, Carson Storch, Reed Boggs and Dusty Wygle along side skiing by Locas Wachs, Mitchell Brower, Nicky Keefer and Jonah Williams.
