The days are getting shorter, the weather cooler. Winter is coming to Canada, which means its time to start thinking about fat bikes again.

Substance Projects announced the dates for its three-stop Cannondale Ontario Fat Bike Series. Racing starts in January and continues all all the way to March.

Albion Hills will host the opening round on January 11, 2020. The series then moves to the Georgian Nordic Outdoor Activity Centre in Parry Sound on February 1. Hardwood Ski and Bike will host the Ontario Fat Bike Series final on March 1, 2020.

In the case of severe weather resulting in a race cancellation, a make-up race will be held on March 8 to determine series standings.

These three events aren’t the only fat bike races in Ontario, of course. But the trio are the only events that will count towards Substance Projects Ontario Fat Bike Series overall standings.
