Warming up from winter with Rocky Mountain / Race Face in Queenstown

Canadian trio prepares for first Enduro World Series round in New Zealand

Rocky Mountain Race Face

Enduro World Series racing starts this weekend in Rotorua and the Rocky Mountain / Race Face team has been in New Zealand getting ready.

The teams trio of Canadian riders, all based in the Sea-to-Sky region north of Vancouver traveled south well ahead of the opening EWS round. They’re there to get used to dust and dry conditions after a snowy winter back home. Jesse Melamed, Remi Gauvin and Andréane Lanthier Nadeau started on the south island in Queenstown, finding ridge lines and rooty forest trails. From there, the team returns north to Rotorua, where racing starts this Sunday, March 24.

The team is looking fast and riding flat out in Queenstown. With all three landing top-10 finishes last year, and ALN ending her season with a string of third places, all eyes will be on podium finishes this season.
