Speed, a mid-run slam and a silver medal

Leogang was a hectic weekend for all riders, but especially for Canada’s junior men’s downhill world champion Jackson Goldstone. The Squamish, B.C. racer crashed in his race run, got back up, and sprinted for a silver medal.

Goldstone already shared footage of the crash. But now he’s posted his whole race run. And it is, as expected, pretty wild. Leaves us wondering what could have been if the Syndicate rider had stayed upright.

GoPro also posted the race run of another reigning world champion: Myriam Nicole. The Commencal/Muc-Off rider also finished second, but in the elite women’s race. It wasn’t quite enough to best Camille Balanche, but a clean run in Leogang is a solid achievement on its own.
