Wolf Tooth Components adds master link Pack Pliers
Compact new tool tackles functions left off most standard multi-tools
New from Wolf Tooth Components, the Ultralight Pack Pliers Master Link Combo pliers targets functions not on your typical multi-tool. Featuring master link pliers, storage for two spare master link pairs, a three-way valve core tool, valve stem lock nut wrench and tire lever. A clever compartment hollowed out inside the tool stores two pairs of spare master links, and closes magnetically.
The Pack Pliers are compatible with 9, 10, 11 and 12-speed master links and chains, including SRAM’s PowerLock links for Eagle drivetrains. The anodized aluminum tool weighs in at a mere 38g, making it an easy addition to any ride pack.
The pliers are available in either anodized red, with a black bolt, or anodized black with a choice of bolt colour. Like other Wolf Tooth Component’s tools, the Master Link Combo pliers are designed and manufactured in Minneapolis. Master links are sold separately, and anyone considering the multi-took should be aware that the tire lever is not recommended for use on carbon rims.
Wolf Tooth’s first batch of black pliers sold out within 48 hours, but the anodized red pliers are still available. Watch Wolf Tooth’s website for updates if you really need the black version.
