While South America has incredible mountains, the continent has not yet produced many athlete’s that have broken out onto the World Cup scene. That’s not for lack of talent, though, and the YT Mob World Tour heads to the southern hemisphere to prove it.

It’s the third episode of YT’s global search for the next crop of donwhill racers. With the help of pro rider Angel Suarez and mentor and talent developer Martin Whiteley, the series heads to Cerro Bayo. The mountain is located nine kilometres from Villa La Angostura. It’s summit pokes up to 1,782 m of elevation, overlooking Nahuel Huapi Lake, and has a wide rage of trails tracing down the mountain.

It’s the perfect spot for the second Young Talent Camp. It’s a region that’s remained far from the reaches of World Cup racing, which means there’s plenty of young riders looking to be discovered. The YT mob spends Episode 3 engaging with this raw talent in South America, hoping to give one rider a chance to shine, and step to a stage they’d never have accessed before.
