On-road and on-gravel gear at Sea Otter

New technology and some bright new colours on display in California from POC, Easton, Allied Cycle Works and more

With gravel riding exploding, and higher-volume tires making the gravel bikes ever more capable, the all-road market has a big presence at Sea Otter this year.

Along with gravel road, there are new helmets from POC, new power-meter options and more.

Easton Overland gravel team’s Allied Cycle Works Alfa

Easton has launched a gravel team to take on the back roads of North America this season. The squad rides the made-in-America carbon-fibre frames from Allied Cycles. Team manager Matt Hornland found time to escape his booth, throw slicks on and jump in the Sea Otter road race.
