Weights and Canadian pricing for the new Shimano 105 R7100 group
Key numbers for the third-from-the-top road components, as well as comparisons with Ultegra R8100
Even though the Shimano 105 group has Dura-Ace and Ultegra above it in terms of performance, the No. 3 set is tops when it comes to value. And really, 105 takes so much design and tech from its siblings that the differences in shifting and braking aren’t all that great. Shimano says the whole 105 set weighs 3,067.7 g. The old 105 R7000 is 2,978.4 g. The latest Dura-Ace is 2,437.5 g, and Ultegra is 2,690.5 g. Below are weights and Canadian prices of the new R7100 series.
