Celebration as Bahrain-Merida rider becomes first Italian to win Milan-San Remo in more than a decade

It was a perfectly timed attack, backed up by an incredibly confident dash to the finish line, as Vincenzo Nibali (Bahrain-Merida) soloed to victory in the 2018 Milan-San Remo. Nibali was ecstatic as he crossed the line, becoming the first Italian to win the Monument in over 10 years.
