The Sept. 15th event will run from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. and will include a meet-and-greet, an interview with Barry and a book signing. A professional cyclist for 11 years, Barry has ridden for some of the biggest teams, including US Postal, T-Mobile and now Team Sky.

“He is one of the most experienced and interesting riders around,” organizers said in their release. “With his craft of writing, he gives the reader unprecedented insights about life in cycling: the hardships, adventurousness, glory, suffering for a love, and mental fortitude.”

There will be 100 copies of Le Metier available for purchase at the event. Food and beverage will be prepared and served on site. No RSVP required. Everyone is welcome. The event is being sponsored by Domestique Café and McAuslan Brewery.
