Batty racing U-23 World Championships at 10 a.m. Thursday
Day 2 of MTB Worlds starts with Under-23 women's championship; Qualifying for men's 4x tonight.
The Under-23 women’s race at the UCI World Mountain Biking Championships gets under way at 10 a.m. today (Thursday). Thousands of spectators are expected to line the course and Brooklyn, Ontario’s Emily Batty, the Canadian Champion, will be looking to take her first World Championship podium on home soil. Also in the race today are Rebecca Beaumont (Alma, QC), Mikaela Kofman (Toronto), Ashley Barson (Bolton), Cassandre Olivier-Lapierre (Lac Beauport, QC), Andreanne Pichette (Quebec City) and MArie-Claude Surprenant (Sherbrooke.)
