Canadian Cycling’s most-liked (by you) photos of 2018

Michael Woods gave Canadians a lot of love on Instagram in 2018 but other Canadian highlights also received a lot of likes

Now into the final month of 2018, Canadian Cycling has started looking back at all the photos shared on the @CanadianCycling Instagram page. Capturing Canadian achievements, triumphs, and just fun times on the road and trails there is a lot to look back on.

The most liked photo on the Canadian Cycling Instagram account was a gallery from Michael Woods absolutely incredible ride to bronze at the 2018 UCI Road World Championships in Innsbruck, Austria on Sept. 30. Photos of Woods from that day comprised the tops three posts on the Instagram page and another photo from a couple weeks earlier when he won Stage 17 of the Vuelta a Espana was the fourth most liked photo. Save to say, Woods gave Canadians a lot of cheer for in 2018.

The cover of August/September issue of Canadian Cycling Magazine with Emily Batty also made it into the top ten along with two of Maghalie Rochette from the day she won the Pan American cyclocross championships and the Canadian cyclocross championship title. Simone Boilard won a bronze medal at the road world championships and also deservingly got a lot of love for that result.
