For the past couple of weeks, Canada has been pounded by winter storms and gone into a deep freeze. The unforgivably freezing winter weather has been a favourite topic of conversation. Part of being Canadian means navigating our day-to-day lives in temperatures that are incomprehensible to most citizens of the world. Somehow, we survive the knife-like winds and colder-than-Mars conditions – but not without making everyone well aware about how intolerable this climate really is. That doesn’t stop plenty of Canadians from getting out on two wheels for fun in the snow and cold.
