This week, Cycling Sports Group, one of the leading global suppliers of bikes and accessories, announced that Hannah Parish will be the company’s director of marketing for North America. Parish, the company announced, will play a critical role in the organization’s direction going into 2016, officials explained.

“I’m delighted to welcome Hannah to the CSG North America management team,” said Russell Merry, senior vice-president and general manager for Cycling Sports Group’s North American and UK divisions. “Hannah has a fantastic blend of bike industry experience and skills learned in other industries that will greatly benefit our dealers. Hannah’s appointment completes our North American leadership, as she joins Joe Morealle leading finance and Nick Hage heading up sales.

“We head into 2016 with a greater focus than ever before on growing the home market of our portfolio of brands.”

Prior to taking her appointment with Cycling Sports Group, Parish was—and is—known for many other vital roles. Over fifteen years, she led the marketing operations of such high-profile, global brands in the cycling world as Specialized, and other brands like General Mills and Smuckers. Notably, her background in cycling also includes some competitive experience, having raced in the Master Expert division of W30-39 mountain bikers at the 2015 Ontario cross-country mountain bike cup. She currently sits on the board of directors for Cycling Canada.

Cycling Sports Group, part of Dorel Industries, includes such names in the cycling world as Cannondale, GT, Charge, Fabric and Sugoi. The company currently employs about 10,800 people in 25 countries around the world.
