Silver Goose delivered another stellar year of Pan-American championship racing, throwing everything from snow to mud and a triple set of steep granite stairs at competitors.
Canada comes away smiling after two years of hosting the continental championships in Midland, Ont. In 2019, Maghalie Rochette defended her Pan-Am title. Ruby West avenged a close second place in 2018 to win the under-23 women’s Pan-American championships.
Along with a host of other impressive performances by the home-team Canucks in the elite races, there’s a lengthy list of Canadians claiming Pan-Am masters titles.
