There are 23 events on the 2019 UCI Women’s WorldTour which started on March 9 with Strade Bianche.

Women’s racing has historically been very difficult to follow. Not least because the events have rarely been televised. Thankfully, that is starting to change. Obsessively following Twitter hashtags for live updates is giving way to actual race coverage. The racing, as it has been for years, remains incredible from a fans perspective.

Broadcasting of the women’s racing is catching up with the men’s, quite literally during at Omloop Het Nieuwsblad.
