Canadian UCI continental team H&R Block Pro Cycling was established in 2012 and enters in sixth season in 2018 with a strong roster of domestic and international talent. The roster consists of seven Canadians and three riders from abroad.

Returning in 2018 are Canadian Cycling Magazine contritor Oliver Evans, Jean-Denis Thibault, Matthew Staples, Marc-Antoine Nadon, Alexis Cartier, Conor O-Brien and Jure Rupnik of Slovakia.

New to the team are Vivien Rindisbacher who rode for American Killington Mountain School and Ontario-based NCCH. Jayson Valade of France joins after spending part of 2017 with Chinese continental squad Qinghai Tianyoude Cycling Team. Finally the team adds Luke Mudgway of New Zealand who has finished second at the New Zealand Cycle Classic two-years in a row now.

Travis Samuel, Chris Prendergast, and brothers Peter and Quinton Disera will not be returning to the squad in 2018. The Disera brothers will turn their focus entirely to mountain biking. Samuel and Prendergast have not yet announced their intentions for 2018.

In 2018, the team will continue developing its international calendar which saw the M1 Project travel to Europe and Asia for races. Under Maxime Martin who will continue to serve as the team’s director sportif, that calendar will grow in 2018 with invitations to further expand the international calendar. Joyce Chiang returns are the team’s logistic manager.

The team will soon gather for training camp before beginning the season at the Joe Martin Stage Race in Askansas.
