Israel Cycling Academy to return to Giro d’Italia
Milan-San Remo and Tirreno-Adriatico also on ICA's calendar
The Giro d’Italia finally named its four wildcard teams for the first Grand Tour of the season from May 11 to June 2, and for the second year in a row Israel Cycling Academy will race for pink.

Last season, the Giro started in Israel and it was natural that the Pro Continental outfit would get an invite. Canadian Guillaume Boivin was active in the breakaways of the opening stages. This year, not only does he have compatriot Ben Perry as a teammate, but also Alexander Cataford, who left UnitedHealthcare when it folded.

ICA joins Italian squads Androni Sidermec, Bardiani-CSF and Nippo-Vini Fantini Faizanè as the wildcards. Last season Androni, Bardiani and Wilier Triestina–Selle Italia, now Neri Sottoli–Selle Italia–KTM, were the wildcards with Israel Cycling Academy.
On Friday Israel Cycling Academy also received invitations to WorldTour races Milan-San Remo and Tirreno-Adriatico. The team’s first WorldTour competition is La Flèche Wallonne in April.
