Jumbo-Visma announces Tour team….and shows their special kit in action
Van Aert and Vingegaard lead the super-strong Dutch squad...with some incredible support riders

Arguably one of the strongest teams entering this year’s Tour, and the biggest threat to defending champion UAE Emtirates’s Tadej PogaÄŤar is team Jumbo-Visma. The Dutch team is heading to the Tour de France with a strong selection of riders.
The five riders that will assist Wout van Aert, Primoz Roglic and Jonas Vingegaard in the battle for green and yellow are Sepp Kuss, Steven Kruijswijk, Christophe Laporte, Tiesj Benoot and Nathan Van Hooydonck.
“We have several ambitions, so we have chosen riders who are the best at different terrains”, Team Jumbo-Visma’s Merijn Zeeman said. “We have to guide our leaders safely through the first hectic week but also be able to make it difficult for the other Tour favourites in the mountains. Wout also deserves sufficient support in his hunt for stage victories and the green jersey. This squad is fit and, in our view, capable of pursuing our ambitions in the best way possible.”
The team will also be wearing a special jersey during this year’s Tour. Since their kit has enough yellow in it to cfreate confusion as to who’s wearing the coveted maillot jaune, the team will once again have kit just for the biggest race in the world. Although they debuted this kit months ago, cycling fans can finally see the distinctive jersey in action.
