Tibco-Silicon Valley Bank have confirmed their roster for 2019. Two Canadians are amoung the ten returning riders while the team also welcomes three new additions. The American UCI team earned 37 victories and 73 podiums in 2018 including their first in the Women’s WorldTour. Alison Jackson returns for 2019 after a very solid eyear and Lex Albrecht is back for her third season with the team.

“We are happy with the season we had this year,” said Canadian team founder Linda Jackson. “We’ve developed a forceful combination of strong riders and cohesive teamwork, both on and off the bike.”

American sprinter Kendall Ryan lead the team in 2018 with Stage 1 victory at the Tour of California and three wins at BC Superweek. Alison Jackson had a good year for the team with many top ten performances including at the WorldTour GP Plouay, Lotto Belgian Tour, and two top five stage results at the Tour de l’Ardèche.

“2019 is going to be a good year for the team,” said Alison Jackson. “There is a large core of the team returning, and that consistency gives us power. Each year, my personal results get better and better, and I am confident that with the support of Team Tibco-Silicon Valley Bank, we will achieve even higher results than in 2018.”

Albrecht had a strong season in 2017 and after a 2018 without consistent results, she is brought on for a third year with the team. Stage wins at the 2017 Lotto Thüringen Ladies Tour and the 2017 Tour of the Gila show she’s still capable of strong rides on her day.

Team director Linda Jackson is confident the team will continue to grow in 2019 after a strong 2018 season. “While I am happy with the results that we achieved this year, I believe that we can do more. Alison made the finishing group of most of the WWT races this year and was able to parlay her smart riding into numerous top 10 finishes,” she said.

The team welcomes Dutch riders Nina Kessler and Rozanne Slik to the roster along with Kiwi Sharlotte Lucas.

“Our new riders are going to be a huge help in turning this year’s top 10 results into multiple podium results for several of our riders next season. I am excited to see this progress unfold for the whole team; we have a lot of talent on the team that has yet to fully emerge,” Linda Jackson explained.
