Canada’s Lex Albrecht (Twenty16 Pro Cycling) won the Tour de Murrieta omnium held from March 7 to 9 in California. She won the overall title ahead of Julie Cutts (Velo Club La Grange) and Jessica Cerra (Spy Giant Ride).

On Friday, Cerra won the opening time trial ahead of Twenty16 Pro Cycling teammates Allie Dragoo, Albrecht and Amber Gaffney.

On Saturday, Albrecht placed fourth in the 50-minute criterium just behind her teammate Mary Elizabeth Maroon in third, Kendall Ryan in second and Cutts, who won the bunch sprint to the finish line.

On Sunday, Albrecht went on to win the 68-km circuit race from a sprint ahead of Cutts and Ryan. Her win during the finale secured the overall title.
