Papillon’s teammate also admits to EPO use

Peruvian rider receives two year ban

Just a few days after Arnaud Papillon of the Canadian team Garneau-Club Chaussures-Norton Rose admitted to EPO use after testing positive at the Canadian National Championships this summer, another rider from the team has come clean after getting caught. This time it was 34 year old Peruvian Miguel Agreda, whose sample from the Quebec championship also contained EPO.

Like Papillon, Agreda received a two-year suspension from the Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport (CCES). In his confessional letter to the press the Peruvian rider took pains to insist he acted alone and not in concert with any teammates.
