Ryan Roth links up with new Canadian squad Hamilton United

4HEALTH program at heart of team

New Canadian road cycling team Hamilton United is launching next year and veteran pro Ryan Roth will collaborate with the squad both on and off the bike.

Hamilton United brings a urgent and timely message to pro cycling based on the 4HEALTH concept of developing a person in four major areas of health: physical, mental, financial and social. 4HEALTH hopes to provide coaches, parents, volunteers and athletes with the ability to educate in these four areas. The team will apply 4HEALTH to its training.

Ryan Roth will be part of Hamilton United in 2020.

Former Canadian road and time trial champion Ryan Roth spent the year racing with X-Speed United after five years with Silber. He said, “Sport has been a major part of my life over the past two decades, but I have also realized that financial, social and mental considerations can often be overlooked, this is an exciting opportunity to bring awareness and change. I look forward to contributing the best way I can to this exciting new project.”

Fielding both men’s and women’s elite teams, Hamilton United will compete in local Ontario events, gravel races, select UCI events in North America and select criteriums in the U.S.A.
