Tadej Pogačar back on track riding at UAE Team Emirates training camp

The Slovenian has been recovering from fractured wrist

Tadej Pogačar: ‘Mathieu van der Poel would lap me in cyclocross’

Tadej Pogačar has joined his UAE Team Emirates teammates at training camp as he prepares for the Tour de France. The Slovenian has been on the road to recovery after breaking his wrist back in April at Liège-Bastogne-Liège.

On Friday, he joined his team at camp in Sierra Nevada. He only started riding outside recently, as he was forced to train on the rollers as he healed up.

But of course Tadej Pogačar sassed Remco Evenepoel for his white shorts

Pog posted about how he’s been doing on Instagram.

“Being back on the road feels. Recap of a few weeks work done at home,” the caption read. “Many hours of rehab sessions and more hours on the indoor trainer (MyWhoosh).”

Defending champion Jonas Vingegaard is also training in Sierra Nevada with his Jumbo-Visma team. There are nine riders training in the mountains, preparing for the Tour, including Wout van Aert and Christophe Laporte.
