The luxurious team buses of the Tour de France
Washington Post reporter tours some of the rigs used by the ProTour teams complete with washing machines, showers and mood lighting?
When you’re a journalist covering the Tour de France, there are plenty of side stories worth telling. Last week’s coverage from the Washington Post included an interesting look at the history of the ProTour teams’ buses used during the race. Writer Jon Brand toured a few of the buses, from the 10-year-old HTC- Columbia rig to the ultra-modern Team Sky bus, which comes complete with mood lighting recommended by the team psychologist.
