The Single Speed Cyclocross World Championships of 2015 descend upon Victoria in an unforgettable way

This weekend brought all the madness, intensity and rough-riding hilarity, and definitely all the booze of the Single Speed Cyclocross World Championships to Victoria, B.C. — the first time that the event, something at the apex of the annual cyclocross calendar, has been held outside the United States.
Along with those infamous tattoos and at least a couple of pretty adorable dogs, there were some incredible performances from competing athletes on hand, Mical Dyck among them. And, of course, there were avid ‘cross fans — and photographers — in attendance to document every last dirt-shredding, feat-displaying moment of the event, amply proving just why Vancouver Island, British Columbia was an excellent choice as the host terrain for 2015’s zany, wild competition.
If you couldn’t be there, take a look at how this year’s excitement was experienced on the west coast.
