Canadians struggle against tough U-23 field

The under-23 men’s race just wrapped up at Mont-Sainte Anne with Mathias Fluckiger taking the win in a Swiss sweep of the podium. Thomas Litscher was second at 30 seconds back and Patrik Gallati finished third.

As for the Canadians, it was Francis Morin in 44^th, Simon Lalancette in 48^th, Tyson Wagler in 49^th, Andrew L’Esperance in 51^st and Sebastien Cadieux-Duval in 54^th. Canadian under-23 champion Jared Stafford crashed and didn’t finish and Felix Cote also was a DNF.
